Merrifield pupils shine in multiple sports disciplines

Merrifield Preparatory School is brimming with pride as its pupils excel across various disciplines, showcasing their talent and dedication in swimming, cycling, chess, and ballet.

Swimming Success

Congratulations to Tannah Thomson, John Caldwell, Josh Edwards, Joel Vosloo, Leo Annesley and Kylie Lategan, who proudly represented the Buffalo City Swim team at the recent Inyathi gala.

Cycling Achievements

Merrifield’s cyclists tackled the 72km K2K (Kwelera to Kei Mouth) ride with enthusiasm and determination. Well done to Ethan Sergel, Shengzhe Hu, Tigane Annesley, and their coach Eben Hartslief. A special mention goes to the parents and staff who joined this annual event, demonstrating the true spirit of teamwork and fitness.

Chess champion

Grade 3’s Zheyi Xu continues to impress on the chessboard, consistently earning medals in U10 Border Chess tournaments.

Ballet Excellence

Congratulations to Charis Mosehana on receiving her CDA medal, a testament to her dedication and excellence.
