EL unwraps a ‘holly, jolly Christmas’

The festive season is just around the corner, and Vincent Park is pulling out all the stops to bring joy to East London this holiday. With its first-ever collaboration with Disney, the centre is set to deliver a Christmas experience like never before.

From enchanting decor to exciting giveaways, Vincent Park promises to be the heart of the season’s celebrations.

The centrepiece of this festive extravaganza will be a spectacular Disney-themed Christmas tree, displayed in front of H&M. The tree will be decked with dozens of Disney plush toys, with the opportunity to make a donation to the Reach For A Dream Foundation, at the tree. At the end of the season, all the plush toys will be donated to the foundation, who works to make the dreams of children with life threatening conditions come true in the most wonderful ways.

A season of magic, memories

This year, Vincent Park offers a variety of festive activities to bring the community together.

Central to the festivities is The Festive Village — a Disney-themed children’s craft area where little ones can channel their creativity with two daily workshops from 11am-12pm and 12.30pm-1.30pm from December 16-22.

Tickets for participation in the Vincent Park Festive Village inspired by Disney cost R40, with all proceeds donated to Reach For A Dream. Bookings can be made via Quicket.

Santa, himself, will make a grand arrival from the North Pole, with photos with Santa available from December 16-22. Families can capture these magical moments, with photo packages priced at R80 for large prints (A5) and R50 for small prints (A6). Santa will be ready to meet little ones and receive their wish list letters from Monday to Saturday from 10am-5pm and on Sundays from 10am-3pm.

An exciting way to win

To add even more cheer to the season, Vincent Park is launching an exhilarating “Spend & Win” competition.

Throughout the week of December 16-23, any spend of R400 or more gives shoppers the chance to win instant prizes at the food court, where lively promoters will keep the energy high. Prizes include Vincent Park gift cards, branded merchandise, and premium items from the centre’s retailers.

Extended trading hours for holiday shopping

To ensure everyone has ample time to shop for the perfect Christmas gifts, Vincent Park will offer extended trading hours:

December 13-24:

Monday to Friday: 9am-7pm

Saturday: 9am-6pm

Sunday: 9am-5pm

Optional trading: Christmas Day (December 25) and New Year’s Day (January 1).

Located in the heart of East London and close to popular areas Nahoon, Stirling, and Bunkershill, Vincent Park is a popular lifestyle destination for both locals and visitors, offering a wide range of shopping, dining and leisure experiences.

This festive season, Vincent Park invites everyone to share in the joy and excitement, making it a holiday to remember.
